KILER WEEKEND DISCUSSION&QUESTIONS

Killer Weekend will be published by Putnam on July 10th. It's a new series, set in central Idaho, with a mixuture of town/backcountry rich/not-so-rich and wildlife. The story revolves around a female NY politician delcaring her candidacy for president at a major business conference being held in Sun Valley, Idaho -- an assasin's plan to kill her, and the local sheriff's desperate effort to untangle the threat in time.

The Killer Weekend prologue is now posted on www.ridleypearson.com

I have to wait until July 10th! That is so unfair of you Ridley to do that to me. Post such a wonderful opening scene and then tell me I have to wait until the 10th of July to read the rest of it! Sigh.... i'm such an impatient person.

Seriously, I can't wait for this book. I will be at the bookstore on the 10th and reading it on the Airplane to Thrillerfest the next morning. I'm sure I'll love it.

Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?

What do you mean 3 more weeks??

I'm really looking forward to this!

Oh, and a question so that I can sound vaguely intelligent.

Has Lou Boldt retired, or is he just taking a break? Not that I don't appreciate a new direction and series, but I'd still like to know what happens to Lou and his motley crew.

Three weeks? Now I have to search my poor TBR list to find something worthwhile to read until then.

Just finished 'The Good Guy' by Dean Koontz. Excellent, one of the creepiest creeps he has ever come up with.

Loved the Book. Could not put Killer Weekend down even though I started reading it the same weekend a great friend and co-worker was murdered by her husband. I was so glad that I could not wait for the book to be out for awhile. I am also glad to hear the Lou Boldt is not retired as I live near the Seattle area, I can picture in my mind all the areas talked about in those books. Thank you for the great books and keep them coming as I am not a new fan.

Discovered an interesting Synchronicity tonight. The Blaine County Sheriff’s department has issued a warrant for a person named Treveillian.
